Which boost guage?

Post by Paul R »

Hi,

Can someone recommend a boost guage to fit into the stock location in the dash?

Also, how is it plumbed in? Can I use the existing vacuum pipe thats there for the original turbo?

Cheers,

Paul.

the stock gauge is an electronic gauge, most people use a pillar mount or like i did a apexi el gauge on its own mounting stand, the standard one is just too small and most aftermarket ones are around 52-60mm. the standard gauge gets its feed from the boost sensor at the rear right of the engine, theres a little filter in the vacuum line before the sensor.

cheers karam

There is an aftermarket one available that will fit I believe. so you are saying that I would have to run a vacuum tube through to the engine bay?
