OK...

Love

The engine/brakes/in-dash screen

Like

The mirrors/quality of work/the de-handling

Not sure about

The wheels/size of the wheels

Hate

All the body styling

Nicely executed but you've picked just about all of my least favourite styling options there. All my personal opinion only of course.

Hi mate,

Cracking set up, must go like the wind! Personally, though I'm not a fan of those alloys (way too bling), spoiler, or front end. Battery gauge needs getting rid of as well. 20K spent, and the same dash/dials :-k

But although I don't really like yellow, I thought your yellow/black went well. Nice shade.

Is your garage right though.... You bought it for 1K in April, and have spent almost 20K since? I wish I had your budget!

All the best.

Cant stand the Veilside kit but I loooooooove the absence of bump strips. One for the list methinks. Alloys too bling but interior looks cool. As for the engine....hubba hubba. Keep us all posted on ya progress mate.

Great motor.

for an engine setup like that youve really chosen the wrong set of wheels.......FAR from ideal.
i to am not a fan of veilside kits...
but it seems to have been done well, just way to lary of a car for my likely.

I think your car as been done to a very good std and looks good but I also am not a fan of the veilside kit,but it would be a boring world if we all liked the same.

colour is cool 8)

yeah i know my wheels are way too big and going to be losing out on performance/handling but i hate small wheels, i'll probably grow out of it but im 23 and still have the kid in me!

with that engine running right, the diameter of the wheels won't hurt acceleration too much anyway !

nice work. like the colour.

love the bodykit. i don't know why a lot of people hate it.

the car looks ace. the only two things i'm a little unsure about is the gear knob and the writing on the rims.

other that that top job =D>

Well done...

Body styling is subjective if the owner loves it that is really what counts
must say i do like the yellow n black carbon feel look and also think the yellow n black veilside looks good and may be a better tone for veilside.

Looking more so think the veilside is going to offer good aero dynamics
and the smooth lines and job finish is good too.

Well done a lot of time a lot of work and presume a lot of money very eye catching Toni.G. where are you :P

Well done mate 8) :!: 8)

What size spacers did you use?
rich lange

Re: rate my mr?!

Post by rich lange »

thanks harry! yeah spent lots of time and money on it, wait there, all my time and money on it
they're 30mm spacers and make so much difference to the feel of the car even though its got 19's on it i t still handles simular than when it had 16's on
i put the spacers on mainly for looks as i always said it looked like a little whippet going down the road with its tail between its legs, but now it looks like a staffy with a big pair of bo@@#cks hanging out!
glad you like mate and thanks for your opinion, :)

personally i havnt liked much veilside have done apart from that big metalic green supra they did. the over all effect is great, i feel that a set of darker more spoked wheels would be my preference.
Im a fan of the alternate coloured bonnets ,though the shape of the headlamp covers on our mk2's doesnt quite lend itself to a clean swap.
I was hoping to do a carbon bonnet with matching covers on mine if i got the chance (mine in is white). i think it may tie in nicely with the dark colours of the t-bar

I agree that i like the spacers pushing the wheels out a bit further and the 19's look crazy, real nice but not what i would do to mine! not sure about the silver bars on the kit at the front, never been a fan of that, would have either had black bars or black mesh to make the front look nice and open. colour is awesome, is it custom? Side view and rear end :thumleft:

I want your engine!!
