'A commonly asked questions' section

Post by Caribbean_Blue »

We all come across the same questions now and then we to a point we don't mind but I thought a 'Commonly asked questions section' would come in handy?

Each main section could have one. ie General, Machanical, Mods and Electrical.

For example 'Best tyres' or 'Will these alloys wheels fit' etc

If there is one section that moderators and/or general users can post into existing posts may help in the future. And in theory would make questions think those mentioned quickly answered?

Thats my 2ps worth. Imoc keep up the good work.

Agreed, a Frequently Asked Questions would be good.

I think next to the 'Knowledge Base' or something - not as a sticky in one of the forums.

Probably best to keep it to 'facts' though (how many litres of engine oil etc) rather than opinion based stuff (best tyres - although a few top/recommended brands would be okay).

That's my 2 Euros.

It would be nice, but I bet it won't stop people asking the questions. Most of the really easy ones can be answered from a simple seach, and they still come up every week or so.

Without a doubt the same questions will still flow, that's what helps keep the forum fresh. But it should *help* reduce with some of the repeats :)

It would stop people getting the wrong information, and we can just direct peeps there, they'd soon get the message, apart from the sweet newbies.
