I'm really sorry for the way in which Emma's run was made a mess of. I have to say that when I had a look at the time slip myself I instantly spotted the 1.1 sec 60ft and realised and mentioned that it just couldn't have been so :( I can't believe for one second that officials at the pod didn't notice the mistake but I to can only assume that they thought it wasn't important enough to mention [-( Very unprofessional IMHO #-o

I'll be interested in hearing the response from the Pod when it comes......?

If you stand and watch at the pod you will see this happening all the time, every 5 or so runs you will see the official use his foot to stage the car, ive been going to santa pod for years and it's always been like this on RWYB days.

Doesn't make it right though.

Another thing, they are showing the car and time as third in class, with the 60ft clearly sticking out as completely out of kilter!!

Results are here: http://www.japshow.co.uk/rwyb_times_jf06.php?Class=B

Well done Mike on winning Class B =D>

And here's a vid of a 1.5 destroying a Supra on a genuine 12.88s @110mph run. Awesome stuff! :D

jesus, someone actually replied
anyone know emmas details?
heres the email i got back-

"To mr J Limb

Thank you for taking the time on telling us about your concerns we here at Santa Pod Raceway encourage any feed back good or bad.
It is not standard practice for our startline crew to place there feet into the staging beams and I can imagine how much stress and heart ach this must of caused Emma in thinking that she had run a quicker time than she had actually done.

I WILL be having strong word's with the crew on that day to make sure that this incident does not happen again.

If you have and would be so kind as to pass on Emma's e-mail detail's to me I would be more than glad to get in touch with her and apologise on behalf of Santa Pod Raceway myself.

Ask them why they are displaying the time in the class with such a strange 60ft! Still at least they bothered to answer.

 Oh strewth, this has got a bit out of hand! Jay, while I agree with your sentiments entirely (and I've made my opinion plain and clear) it really is up to Emma and Stu (Penelopes owners) or Nik (TwoBrutal admin) to make a complaint to Santa Pod.

I must admit though I am encouraged that at least they have replied.
