Performance figures for a Mk2 Rev1 Jap Turbo?

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the world of MR2s and have just bought a 1991 (Rev1?) Turbo.

I've looked but I can't find any definitive performance figures...

What is the standard bhp and torque?

What is the stock 0-60 time?

mines the same, says u can get 60mph out of second,,,mine doesnt

The 1/4 mile time is far too slow on that site. That figure is for the lower spec US model. The JDM model was rated at 14.2 @ 98mph. I managed 14.3 @ 98mph dead stock several times on my first ever outing drag racing.

rev1/2 stock 225ps = 220bhp.

0-60 = 5.7

How far short of 60mph in 2nd gear are you? Let's not forget that the speedo is less than accurate! What size wheels are you running?
