really sorry guys but "big jim's" MR2 steering still hasn't been fixed, we've been everywhere trying to get a relay and cant source one, the "incorrect" (red which toyota claim is wrong) steering fluid has been changed but just couldn't get a relay and finish it in time, again sorry for letting you lot down

i went on the saturday.wish i had not bothered.my car allways runs slower times at the pod.will not go there again.did race another rev3 turbo and just beat it.my best time was a 13.5 which is not good but was better than a lot of cars.i watched a red rev3 i think run a [email protected] before that a certain dark purple mk1 ran a 12 flat @108ish.very impressed with that as last time it was running mid 13,s.i spoke briefly to the lady driver.she told me there was a bigger turbo on it now.wish i could afford one.fastest car was a camaro running a big block and nos,it ran a 9.7@148ish .only stayed for 3 hours as i was upset by some of the faster cars there :(

Zak, get a grip, 13.5 is by no means slow, you cant sulk cos averyone else is faster, christ what would run what ya brunk days be like if everyone was like that, youd have a 10 of the best at every rwyb, wherea now you get everything from skylines to Novas, everyone starts somewhere , its now down to you to make your times quicker!

just angry about my clutch being knackered allready.has only done a few thousand miles.i can now not afford to do the mods i want ie intercooler.will be getting a new clutch fitted + lighweight flywheel soon.will stick on a downpipe aswell but that is all i can do.hopefully with this done i should be able to get a very low 13 [-o<

Aye, How did everyone do?, I snuck off to York last minute decision because i didn't fancy the long trek to SP incase something went wrong :(

John did you manage to knock any more off after i left? (yes or no will do if you don't want to post your time ... just yet!!!) :) =D>

I managed a 13.49@York, My first run and best of the day ](*,) Went downhill from there. Once again i proved to myself i can't launch for xxxx getting 2.4 60 foot's all day  so the sig will be staying for a while it seems. Cars fine, Useless driver and the fact that Falken 451's aren't compatible with drag strips  Would be sooooo close to 12's if i could launch properly

Oh and well done and thank you to Mike won the 'Class B'. =D>

But was unfortunately not there to recieve his prize, which was half a dozen free lap dances. I therefore passed the burden to myself

Sorry I didn't come and say hello to everyone, hectic weekend #-o

Drove 130 miles there and was taken 130 miles home on the back of an AA lorry!!

1st run ever, sitting at 4k. Light went green, car shuddered as the rear wheels started boucing (coilovers are so incredibly hard!!) and then some loud backs and a crunching sound as i carried on reving.

Guessing a CV joint ... just my luck!!

Suppose it was something waiting to happen and this just brought the problem to surface earlier!!!

Thanks to the guys who were there that helped me push ther car a few miles to the gate!! :D

Andy ... didn't do any better after you'd left. Xxxx did an 11.7 just after though in his white car. they did some more prep work and "glued" the start line just before the end of runs, thats when he did another 2 runs (one was a 12.3 or 4 the other the 11.7).

Mike Commons (Mikejc) did a very good 11.977 with a terminal of 118mph on his normal street tyres and normal optimax!! Full trim including standard seats...that was with a fairly 'average' launch and spinning too...(at his own admission  ).

That car has got a hell of a lot to come, particularly if he sticks some drag radials and race fuel in. :D

It was also good enough to win Class B for the weekend, so well done Mike.
