take a left turn at the roundabout on the A26 and park on the slip road to the southbound A21 - it's the old road before the bypass was built so should be plenty wide enough.

The meet at Stone Cross is at 8.00 so we need to leave Tonbridge around 7.00 - don't want to waste any drinking time!

Tiamat - is this RV any good for you? I'm not sure where you are starting out from.

You'd be better off going down the A26 and then A22 then down the A21.
Also if you did that you'd be able to hook up with me on route.

Agreed - but the master plan will only use the A21 for about a mile and a half!
What I had in mind was for me and ICEMAN to meet then cut across from Pembury by-pass to the A267. This avoids plodding all through Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
Was planning to take A267 all the way to the A22. No towns, just a few small villages - perfect MR2 territory
Assuming ICEMAN is with meeting me as suggested, taking A26 instead of A267 is no problem. It's just longer - and slower

Sorry mate, forgot to check the thread again.
A267 good, we can meet at the service where it joins the A22 - Boship Roundabout.
There's a petrol station, travelodge and Little Thief there.
Would suggest we meet in the car park about 7.45 - 8.00.
Only takes 5 - 10 minutes from there to get to the pub.

Hi all. Im meeting Carly in Tenterden Then going to me Tiamat SOMWHERE (I have forgotten where haha) Carly is in charge anyway, Then I will go wherever we need to go to make up the convoy to Eastbourne!
