whereabouts is everyone going to be?

do we have a marked area?

would it be safe to empty the car in that area (all the rubbish we carry, tools etc)

We normally gather together in one area. :)
Should be someone around most of the time...but obviously you leave stuff at your own risk.

Weather is forecast lovely for tomorrow. \:D/

I asked to be on the concrete, but sadly no.

We should be on the grass on the right before you get to the strip start building.
There should be an area marked MR2 MK1 Club / IMOC.
I will be putting 1 gazebo up (but would need a hand)
there should be space to put stuff out of the car, but perhaps put a tarp over it so stuff is not on show. i won't mann the stand all the time, as i would like to run too.

cool cool.

if all goes well i sould be there early, so fingers crossed should be able to give a hand.

i may have to change a few things on the car tommorrow, so could stay around the gazebos for a fair bit.

16.22 what? Garrick is currently top of the standard (non-NOS) Mk1 NA table. His time is 16.226s. So you are very close no matter what! :D

Tim, scan in the time slip and submit it yourself.

It simply needs approving because some people have been abusing it and claiming false times.

Saw a purple-ish mk1 doing what I think was a 12.0 something. Truly awesome. Very inspiring.

You could hear everyone in the stand gasped and all you could hear was..."that was an MR2!".... very cool. Especially, as it seemed that a lot of scoobys/evos/supras and such were stuck in the very low 14s, apart from the odd one or two hitting the 13s. :-k (I did leave early afternoon though - 4 hr return leg!)

Can be very misleading I suppose though. Was chatting one lad I was paired with going down the track. Nice looking scooby. Looked very played with. Happily sat there revving the b0ll0cks off it, as he said it went better when warm.

Anyway, it looked the part, bonnet, exhuast etc, but after chatting, he said it was a 1.8 n/a. There is a lot of camoflague these days eh, so who knows what I've been watching?

Some nice 2's going down the pod though, good times too =D> (not me though, more practice needed. Damn those difficult starts. )

Cheers
