Bodyshop Recommendation Required...

Post by StuartLaws »

Since my reasonable estimate to get rid of the rust spots on my 2 has gone from £540 to a quote of £2,816 and the claim that the roof and associated bits need replacement and painting.

Does anyone know of a bodyshop/someone that can do the work and not charge the earth.

I'm also going to another bodyshop to get a second opinion on the off chance Mr T's subbed out guys are trying to pull a fast one...

Try contacting Fonzy - he's in the memberlist.

He's opening one

My mate has been doing it for years and is very good and reasonably priced.

Try Fozzy first though :D

Thanks

Cheers I'll look him up over the weekend when I get 5 minutes.

Stopped by another body shop on the way back to the office and they've said they could do it for £150-£1,000 depending on how far the rust has gone inside. Have to go back on Monday for a formal written quote, so slightly happier now.
