well it seems the other guy has already booked the day so i guess it would be unfair to try and organise another one

As Allan had said, there's a day booked at Hyper SR in Wigan on 11th November.... I get the impression from some of the posts that rather than join in with the one Allan is organising, that people are just not going to bother (is this MR2DC phobia?) All are welcome!!!!

I've e-mailed the editor of MR2 Only Magazine, so maybe they'll be along as well.

Please let Allan know if you're interested....

Cheers,
Jon

personally i get the impression its the other way round - i put a post up asking for interest then a few days later allan posts up to say he has already organised and booked one, could that be because he hadnt invited us at that point? (lack of interest?) :?

Allan was talking to Chris Lloyd (Hyper SR) at the last Tatton Park show about doing a NW rolling road day. Allan will have booked it as a NW MR2 DC event, invited the DC members at the club meet, then opened it up to see if anyone from other clubs wanted to come. The intention was always to have it as an open to all clubs rolling road day, as we were never going to get 20 cars wanting a dyno run from just the NW DC.

I'm not sure I quite understand some of the posts, people were wanting a dyno day, there is one organised (albeit not by yourself), there's an open invite to eveyone, yet you've said thread closed? Surely the thread is well and truely open, dyno's booked, sign up, come along and enjoy!

I've spoken to Steve at MR2 Only magazine and he'll be attending to do a magazine article and write up.

Jon

I could do with getting my car on the rollers so if there's some conclusive answer about this one in early November then can the organiser PM me. I am more than happy to travel to Wigan for the day...

Hi...

The rolling road day is certainly on. If you scroll up the posts until you see the one by 'fazza', contact details are there. Allan doesn't spend much time on IMOC so you're better e-mailing him or phoning the mobile number given and he'll add you to the list.

Cheers,
Jon
