[Mk2 ] Sub Woofer (Under passenger Seat)

Post by massari »

Hi does anyone know any companies which make under seat sub woofers (inc amplifier or a separate one, however I dont want to fit it behind the seat as I use that area for my t bar glass),

I am going to order these speakers;

SXE - 1750S (Alpine component 6.5 inch includes separate speakers £35)
SXE - 0825S (Alpine 3inch £26)

& the Sony MEX R1 - DVD player....

Then I want the Sub to go under the passenger seat,

Thank you :D

I dont know if you have looked under the seats but there isnt much room to fit anything. I tried to fit my amp under the seat and it did fit until you sit on the seat. 99% sure you cant fit a sub under seat.

I've got probably the smallest active sub you can get - Alpine SWD-1600 and that doesn't fit under the seat. It tucks nicely behind the seat if you have it on the penultimate notch. Doesn't affect storage of the roof panels either.

Sounds great for its size, but not going to make the ground rumble.

you struggle to fit a 5cm deep amp under the seat - you will not fit a sub under there in a million years i'm afraid!
