Have to say that when we did the old C&F last year, the food was great, it gets my vote. We don't have to decide on the exact plan until nearer the time.

Excellent stuff, looks like progress has been made in my absence (very busy at work atm). Let me know where I can be of any assistance.

Definately up for the 'cat and fiddle' as i've never been before.

Tie in with Ian Chris he is now organiser but everyone can have some input so long as it turn into a good run out

To be honest Chris there's not a great deal to do, just decide on a route and date and then turn up and off we go. If you can persuade anyone else into coming then that's important because sometimes people can't make it on the day which reduces numbers. At the same time we don't need loads, 7 or 8 cars is enough as the smaller runs are just as much fun.

Is this a mk1 thing only...... :-k And what is the actual route :-k

I'm sure theres a few mk2's who do the C&F run that would come along..... Just depends how many you want.... sometimes the mk2's come out in LARGE numbers :P

MK2's are welcome, hell why don't we go for it and let MK3's in as well! Not scared of large numbers, I did Hicks first two Peak runs earlier in the year and they were great. This run will be a bit more of mix between scenery, quaint old villages and good driving that those runs.

Looking for help from Kev with the route but we'll start off from Tesco's Meir Park in Stoke at about 11am (meet up at 10:30am) and work our way up to the Cat and Fiddle for lunch and take the scenic route back.

That's me bud, nice to hear from you. If you're coming to this one, it'll be coffee in Tesco instead, no card needed there.

Great, any suggestions on the route from a seasoned pro like yourself would be appreciated.

Please post a day or so before the run to confirm, just so I know who to expect on the day.

Apologies for it being a bit main road ish this time but as I can't attend I didn't want you all to get hopelessly lost
Confirm with Ian before setting off start point is the Tesco Superstore at Meir Park not the Tesco Extra at Longton!! both are on the a50
