In response to your PM you can get the Power FC's through from www.Nengun.com - I have already ordered mine. Total came to £445 delivered with commander. Pretty sweet deal.

The D Jetro one is for te Rev1/2 cars

Mines on its way now
:D

Cheers

James

if you had a rev2 and wanted to loose the AFM would you order the rev3 one or the rev2 one?

Hi James.

I have a couple of more questions for you...

APEX FC commander Software has just come available. The software for the Power FC has always been very ellusive to obtain. The expense if you could get it was said to have cost Thousands of dollars. Now you can buy the software just like EXCEL DEALER uses to tune your car.
The software is compatable with OS windows98,ME,2000 and XP.
Only the Hand commander 415 X001 is suitable with the software. The H/C 415-N001 is not suitable.

does this mean dont need fc dataloging ?

Bender Unit wrote:Mike, just seen them for 428 delivered to your door, going to check that out but that includes the commander and is for Rev3's

They also do a D jetro version for £565 delivered for the rev1/2 cars.

James

I'm going to guess that's not a UK source.
SO have you factored in the Import Duty (5%) and VAT (17.5%) and that extra 12 quid the post office slap on??

Me, I already have a PFC - otherwise I would have been snapping his arm off at 500 odd.

Other GP ideas... I'm thinking Anti-Roll bars, Adjustable Top Mounts, and Strut-Braces!

Paul, you're a techno wizard, does the D-jetro FC come with everything needed to fit a rev1? or are there some other parts that need to be sourced for fitment?

TIA

From what I understand.... there are two 3sgte Power-FC's
The Normal Rev3 one, and the AP Engineering one (D-jetro)
The AP one I believe has a pinout for a Rev2, but requires a new MAP sensor and intake temperature (IAT) sensor - presumably they supply these?
There is nothing stopping you from re-wiring a Rev3 PFC to fit a Rev1 so long as you supply the extra sensors.

I note that ERL can supply a GM 3Bar MAP sensor (Part 806 667) for 66+vat! The IAT sensor you would have to buy as a spare from Toyota. Then you need a Datalogit to tweak the Rev3 PFC to the smaller Rev1 injectors and the 3Bar sensor.

Thanks for that Mr P.

I will be changing the injectors for some larger ones when it's fitted anyway. I might end up just going for the Rev3 unit in the end then, and just finding the sensors that are needed to go with it. Cheaper in the long run by the looks of it.

cheers!

As my suppliers are based in Japan and the very fact that w/i is still not big out there, I am unable to offer w/i kits in any form! :(

You really need to speak to the good Mr Paul Port. That is if you were not already!?

IIRC you dont get tax or duty on the PFC as its classed as measuring / monitering equipment which is exempt from import duty. I am unsure if it includes the cable IIRC that only costs £15 or so? I would have assumed being a kit specifically for the Rev3 Mr2 it probably will - Mine is on its way so I will find out shortly.
