That sounds a little worrying but think I know what you mean. Just because someone is infront of you and they get round a blind corner ok doesn't mean you will - I never make that assumption!

The only corners you can truly cane it on are the ones you can see around, or any on a track!

im not saying i completely cut the whole corner or anything.....but if someone cuts up a fair amount of the road and hes only half a second in front of you, and you can see and hear one or more of other cars infront of you, (the time hes gone around the corner, its effectively not a blind corner anymore as hes gone and copied the guy infront of him) i would have said it was pretty safe to asume theres nothing coming....im certainly not saying i do this on any normal road with the public driving....
think that makes sense.

i mean i drive the car quite hard into the bends and on roundabouts (mr2lover can vouch for that, lol).....i think the fact of having someone infront of you on thin twisty roads means you know there isnt anything coming around alot of them blind bends, whiched added to the safety of attacking them at that speed.....i know for a fact i would have been alot slower if i was infront due to thinking the worst that could happen on the blind bends......

Chris (LimeyMK1) said it was great follwoing my MK1 as he could tell be the exhaust noise whether to power out of the corner or not, apparently it was providing driving assistance!

It was very useful. Nice to have a talkative car, the tubby's far too refined. I think there's a Nurspec for sale on E-bay Malcolm.

Thanks again to Pete for organising the Kent run. Though I have to ask Pete, are you intending to do it in an MR2 at any point? Been twice now and first time you were in a Corsa and this time in a Golf..... LOL
