Does anyone want it?
Have I bored the same half dozen people senseless with this run?
Last weekend in Oct is free!

After the success of the Kent run today, I'd be happy to take this on if someone can give me some pointers.

nope - I doubt they can can make it on the 15th Oct, as it is the club AGM - I'm sure they said they were coming to that....

As Kevin said the last peak distric run was the last he would do (message from fred& D) i put organiser wanted in the last mag, and its been on the site calendar like that for ages.

It would be great if someone would like to do this.

Sat 14th & Sat 21st Oct do not clash with club events, otherwise it needs to be the 1st weekend in nov.

Is too late to advertise the run in the mag now, but it can go on here and on the club site.

hope this helps

PS - moved post to events

Thanks for the PM Jo, Saturdays aren't good days for runs because of the traffic. I can't see the AGM on the events list funnily enough but it might a good idea to avoid that weekend.

The 22nd clashes with the Challenge meet but I don't think there's any harm in giving people a choice, what dates are best for everyone else?

Jo, you can put my email address on the club site if you want ([email protected]) in case we can generate interest from those who don't use the forum. As long as I know Kev can do the route and Chris will help out if needed then there shouldn't be much to it.

I should probably add that IMOC'ers are also welcome. The MK1 runs are different from the C&F runs that Hicks was organising with more stop offs and more country lanes but they're every bit as much fun.

As the challenge is at mallory i guess most of the leics/lough crowd will be there (I will be)

If we do it 1st week in Nov will you be coming? And while you're here, is there a rolling road day in November like last year?

1st week in Nov is good for me, as I will also be going to mallory on the 22nd, and prior to that i have work commitments.

Is this just for Mk1s? Why are aren't there any Mk2s ever involved in this run? Sounds like a good day out - i'll keep myself informed on this one as long as my Mk2 won't get in the way :) . Brilliant area to drive around and some nice places to stop off at en route too. I'm fairly familiar with all this area.

While it is a MK1 Club event no one has ever been turned away for not having a car that is good enough
