Good god! I'd got no idea I was lifting a wheel as well - my car's stiffer than a stiff thing on viagra! (Apologies for the facial expression, it's normally hidden behind a helmet.)

Really enjoyed the day - more so in the afternoon because I couldn't justify destroying the tyres in the morning so I only had a few runs. Really makes me want to find a deserted concrete area somewhere and play some more! Thanks to Frank for the organisation, MikeJC for dropping out and giving me his place and everyone else for a friendly club atmosphere. Also to the FreeFall and LimeyMk1 with whom I swapped cars for a couple of runs.

Really glad you guys had such a good day, I only wish I could have been there to enjoy it with you all. Still next time I plan to be :)

As for who got the fastest time....well I had to give my ticket to someone in my absence and seeing as though I wasn't there to take top honors myself lol ;)

Great pics chaps. I'm really looking forward to the vids \:D/

It is pretty noisy yes, 106dp @ 4000rpm if memory serves! Having said that this will possibly change one way or the other once the new manifold goes on :?

I no what you mean regarding the track day. My car has spent the best part of 3months off the road whilst being built which hasn't allowed me to make it along to much! :(

I should have it back shortly which will enable me to get a good few miles on the beast. From there i'll be getting along to as many events as possible whilst the weather permits! ;)

Fastest time that I'm aware of was the guy who was running it, he did a 1:04 in my Mk1 and it was somewhat scary!

Cheers,
