North Weald pics

Post by EarL »

Ok folks. Hers a couple of pics from the track day at North Wealde.

Image

The usual suspects. From left to right: Nick (FreeFall), Malcolm (Tiamat), Frank (CosmosBlueMR2) & Chris (LimeyMk1).

Swampy (apparently).

At least in this shot Bry's car is pointing straight ahead. A minute later it was pointing anywhere but straight ahead!

Image

Mel going the reverse direction to everyone else... :?
Image

The driver of this MR2 is totaly hatstand.
Image

What a poser...

Andi and Malcolm about to go out. Andi was driving so I thought I'd take this picture to prove that I did have an engine builder before he was killed by Malc for totalling his Mk I.

Is that the same thing as "Chocolate Starfish"?

Some good pics Earl, was great to meet you and I'm pleased that the tyres stayed on the Starlet

I should have some good ones of the high speed bend, will try to get them up over the weekend but have a pretty packed schedule working on the new house.

@ Frank - top day mate! Everything was perfect, even the weather - hats off to you bud and hope to see you again soon :) =D>

Nick

If you did another one Frank, what about somewhere like Bruntingthorpe? Less bumps and more RH turns :eye:

Hasnt Bruningthorpe got a decibel limit though? It would block all the guys with Nur Specs from going. I love North Weald. Its bumpy but adds to the fun!

if they do the same sort of setup (ie course round cones and let us get on with it (ie gooning around) then yes.. sounds good.

the bumps were the only thing i didn;t like about the day.

your guess is as good as mine mate.

I somehow pi$$ed her off by caring too much, and she didn't want to discuss... so that's it.

I give up.

I'm suprised your photo didn;t pick up the obvious "Doormat" emblazened across my forehead.

it must be there....

Take care mate,
