THE DERBY MEET

Post by blueorb »

Hi all you folks who were at the Derby meet today.

Just wanted to say a big thankyou for making me feel welcome.

I hope to get a car sorted soon, and when I do, I plan on making regular meets across the country.

The guy who owned the blue mr2 with reg BAD*** Y. Beautiful car mate. Are you sure you dont want to sell her to me?

Cheers guys!

Matt (BLUEORB)

Hi shaf,

Yeah, keep me posted with pinky's progress! Hope you get that drive shaft sorted soon.

Good luck with the new pimp mobile! I can see that costing you some serious money before long......Bet you get power steering sorted next!

What do you reckon guys, can you see me in the pink pimp machine?

Could be good Shaf! You need to hurry up and fix it before the dream black gt comes along!

It will certainly be a good introduction into the world of mr2. I could always look out for the newer black gt later on?

Have to say it was good to get out today you guys. Was good to put faces to names and see the cars in the flesh so as to speak.

Big thanx to Craig et al for organising the meet.

Was also glad that i wasn't the only MK1 so appreciate Alan (Milothicus) making it and also fellow MK1 restoration nut System G.

I'm definately coming next month as i had a stonking drive back from Ashbourne to Leek. Beautiful scenery, twisty roads winding up and over hills and the car feeling just so nicely balanced made it a total pleasure and probably the first time i've really got into to the groove with my new car. :thumright:
