Where to get your Rocker Cover Powder Coated

Post by TBDevelopments »

Hello guys/girls.

Does anyone have a place that can powder coat my rev 3 rocker cover in red?

I've had 2 done before by a nice guy who lives over the road by him taking them into work, but hes moving soon and don't like asking him to do me another

So anyone got any ideas and the price?

I've found a few local places but they all want £100+ just to do the rocker cover because of minimum orders and such, i think its only about a £50 job if i can find a small company who will do small jobs.

If anyone has any ideas please say :)

Many thanks guy for you time to read this

Probably not much use to you as there's the slight issue of a couple of hundred miles, but there's a powder coating place near me who did my rocker cover, shot blasted & coated for £15, lovely finish too!

He also did my alloys & hard pipes. Wheels £15 each & pipes £10 each or something like that.

so that should give you a rough guide on pricing.

hope this helps

how hard would it be for you to get mine done if i posted it to you and gave you some money for your troubles?

Also do you know if they can do a nice rich red colour?

Many Thanks

i can't see it being a problem getting it done at all, but i can only get down there at weekends, so woul have t odrop it off one saturday & pick it up the week after, due to my working hours & his working hours.

he's got a massive colour range to choose from & they come out pretty damn close to the swabs once coated. if you could post a pic/e-mail a pic with the colour you want i could try & match that for you?

would be worth checking your local yellow pages first for coating companies first, unless you have already done this & £100 is the best you could get!!

yeah i've tried all the local ones, they wanted stupid money.

Well you could always ask them to post it back to me, like i say i would pay for all the postage ect.

The colour i want is just a nice deep red, like the toyota super red 2 would be great.

Also do you have an email addy or msn i can contact you on bud?
