J0nathan, yeah given more time I probs would of, we were shockingly late and rushed round all the cars, just in time to buy some tat and toys from the stalls before they gave up for the day. I'll try get on for the weekend next year. great show.

System-G, accrding to PPC mag I think thats a MK3, if i read rightly the the MK1 and 3 were both the squared pointy shelled one. :-k

Cool though with removable roof panel.

No worries. Met loads of people over the weekend. Many interested in purchasing and restoring MK1. Plenty of 10 minute buyers guide tipes were passed on to potential new owners.

Though some would argue that it's a Mk1 Supra, as the two earlier versions were badged as Celica Supra :-k

Nice to see you at Tatton this weekend and what a weekend it was the Le Mans car certainly drew the crowns onto the stand and won best performance car at show!!!!

First Place for the MK1's

Saturday went to Jon Leech

and Sunday Jon Redmond

both were exceptional cars well done.

I will be speaking with Jo about maybe joining forces for at least one of the shows next year as I am able to get the display unit from Toyota GB, what do you guys think?

Hi allan.

I think that would be a great idea. The toyota van was a bit of a lifesaver at night, think the comfort levels we had put the campervans to shame! coffee on demand was good in the mornings too!

I think if the mk1 club still want to keep their identity, a "village" set up as at JAE would be cool...

Big thanks again for all the effort you put in!

See you soon!

Hi Fazza

sorry i couldn't make it to Tatton

been speaking to the committee last night - they think a joint stand would be good, but worried that both clubs may be cut short of tickets.
Each year we ask for 30, but only ever get 15-20, and our stand gets rammed each time. it is annoying when you see other stands half empty year after year.....
we should try and go for it but with the upmost assurance from the organisers that we both will not be shafted on the number of tickets. if not, the stands side by side ands remove the adjoining wall

everyone : keep your eyes peeled for the next one in spring 8)

Side by side would be the best idea and I think Stuart would go for that I will ask him in January when he starts planning.
