Help me please with my manifold

My car has a custom manifold, that has an external wastegate attached2it and a scremer pipe. the turbo2manifold keeps keeps blowing the gasget2bits as i dont think it can handle the heat. Anybody have any ideas what i can do. i live in leeds and if anybody knows of a place that might be able2deal with problems like this that would be of great help.
One person has suggested that i skim the surfaces and dont bother wit ha gasket??? I really dont know what to do any help would be awesome. if anybody wants 2 come and have a look that would be even better.

it might help but not sure, you could try and make a copper gasket. this will expand and change shape with your manifold. I would also make sure you have some sort of brace on your manifold as the weight of the turbo and downpipe may stress it into cracking.

Cheers 4 the reply mate, just going2 park the car up and wait till i can take it all off. the guy next door2me is going2skim the surfaces and make be a metal gasket. Gutted though i am going2miss the hit in the back it gives. At the moment ihave it 4 about two days then something goes wrong with it lol. It is pushin over 400bhp though. just need2get this manifold sorted and touch wood everything else has been spot on!!! then fit the water injection charge cooler crank the boost the list goes on and on

what footprint is the turbo?

i'm using oem nissan metal crush gaskets for my turbo kits and there perfect.

Also a note brace the downpipe as i had problems with my kits in prototype of the gaskets going because the engine movement would use the downpipe as a lever and force the surfaces apart. Brace it and this will make the downpipe move with the engine and put the flex into the exhaust flex section where its surpost to be.

i might be able to help you. if its a t25/28 flange i could sell you some of those metal crush gaskets i get from nissan. there oem spec so will last a long time.

all i know is its a Precision Turbo SC61 (680 rwBHP capable turbo), only bought the car just over 3 weeks ago.

lol won't be a t25 footprint then.

Gonna be hard to get a gasket i would say. But i would seriously look into the downpipe movement as i found this to be a big problem if not addressed properly.

Hi mate, it likely that the flange on the manifold is not flat. This is common on tube manifolds that are welded up without re-checking for flatness ie xs power type manifolds. I would remove the manifold and get it checked and also check the manifold to cyl head too, i bet thats not perfect either. Just my opinion.
