Weather looks a bit crap for tomorrow, I may not come if it's as bad as it is today as when I was on the Cat the last time the car got very twitchy....

Ok the droplinks have been replaced but now my power steerings stopped working! I dont f@cking beleive it and to top it off the car had just gone to 100,000 miles. I have driven the car without p/s but its much harder to handle in the wet so if its raining tomorrow Im not risking it. Anyone have any idea how what causes the p/s to fail, ive checked the fluid and its fine, Im thinking its a snapped belt? are they pricey to replace?
Thanks

I dunno if it gets heavier when PAS dies and then is worse than a car without PAS, but mine never has had it and I love the feel of the car!

Try turning the key on and off in the ignition a few times, it can sometimes be a sticking p/s relay (as its electric)

Hopefully see you tomorrow!!

Anyone wanna travel down from south manchester? 8)

Hi All
Been having problems with me brakes ( virtually seized due to being parked up for 5 months ). Was supposed to be going to the Derby meet and then C n F. If i can make the brakes good enough i'll come over to Macc and see you all but daren't go on the C n F road until i've fitted some new parts #-o . Is it defo 5pm you're meeting ? at Tescos car park?
Someone let me know please - i'm gona carry on working on my brakes now

Hope to see you all later [-o<
