What's 539's?

Injectors?

;)

Yokohama A539s, those black circular things which stop the wheels scraping along the ground :)

Yeah was kidding.

The tyres are all shocking on the MK1. Not tread wise. Just each corner has a different brand

Well Ens your now a step further along in the project mate =D> with one red wing in hand to play with & hone your skills on  . all you need to do now is forget mucking about with the head, drop another 4AGE in there temporary, get some driving fun out of it while your tubby is getting looked after, especially if your going to be dropping a larger engine in there at some later stage anyway !!, good to see you again though mate, your welcome anytime, cheers, Jinxy

Cheers mate,

The cost of repairing the head will be cheaper then putting in a whole new engine though

Thanks again for the wing mate,

Off to see that place we spoke off about some bits to start working on it.

I'll be in touch soon.

In response to your post in off topic.
Ready whenever you are.
Chris and I are doing the gearbox on his MK1 this weekend.
Will speak to Chris about available dates to come dismantle her.

Maybe now is a good time to invest in a decent socket set?

I hope you didnt drag this car past my house and not call in for a spin in the N2! [-X

I thought I was going lightweight crazy - Cheap way of keeping the weight down!

On the tool front Ens Eurocarparts will sell you a nice big mechanics tool chest on wheels for £150 stuffed chock full of tools. As soon as I finally move into my f*cking house I will buy one to add to my collection

Cheers

Mate, I had someone pick it up for me in the end. Self tow at that distance seemed a bit too extreme

As I said on another thread Ens - Halfrauds have two sets £40.00 for an orange boxed set and about £50.00 for a red boxed set. Both have the tools that you will need ot do the basics - spanners, screwdrivers, socket set etc

Right now I am too hard up after buying yet more bits for my monster MK2 project

I think I can get the head off ok. May do it on Monday. Then inspect everything.
