RWYB Santa Pod Sun Sep 3rd

Post by alias »

Run What You Brung day @ Santa Pod on Sunday 3rd September.

Check the website for rules and regs for the runs. Driving licence etc.

http://www.santapod.co.uk/

Anyone fancy meeting up for a few runs on the day, or anyone fancy convoying up from South Wales??

Cheers

p.s. Anyone know how strict they actually are on the whole helmet/100mph+ at the finish thing, as I haven't got one yet.

Not strict at all, I've only been once and have seen a few videos and there are plenty of people doing over 100 mph with no helmet. You might want to look at it as life insurance though

One other thought, I wouldn't advise buying second-hand. You never know the history and whether it has been dropped etc.

You can get helmets from Nightingales on ebay for ~£50. I've got one (that my missus nicked) and will be getting another one (for me to keep). They're very popular on the minimoto scene.

Also handy to have for the track days :D

I might be up for it in a run up to Jap Show as thats hard to get runs.

BTW in all the times I've done 1/4's I dont think I've ever done less than 100mph and never worn a helmet.
