Sleepy eye mod

Post by R1-Ian »

I saw somewhere how to mod the headlights to get the sleepy eye look. But for the life of me I can't find the article now. Can anyone help.

you can turn lights on or off, and while retracting remove the 30 amp fuse under the bonnet, they will then jam in "sleepy eye" mode.
Not sure if this causes any harm, but I have done it a few times before without ill effect.
TBH it makes your lights look broken!

I'd be keen to know how simple it is to have just the small sidelights on on sidelight mode. I like to have em on on the motorway, so the brainless/indicatorless spot me!

Quite simple to install a switch - having said that I've not done it but know that Kart_T has andhe explained it to me - very simple.
Just I forgot - try PMing Karl_T am sure he can help.
I am going to live forever, or die trying!

Indeed he is - I've always wonder why there was no auto-up on the driverside window, even though the switch looks like it should work.

Having followed this thread to his site this morning..... all is revealed.

I did without the switch and just cut the relevant pin in the relay. It didn't cause any problem with the MOT but I've kept a spare relay just in case.
