Anyone been conned by an "IMOC" seller ?

Post by CosmosblueMR2 »

bought an Apexi Induction kit and an SAFC2 recently (no names YET  )

just wondering if people had any experiences of people joining IMOC to post items for sale and when they (seller) receives the money - buggers off - or at least trying it on

I will keep this thread posted - I'm giving it 2 days after that PAYPAL are going to "investigate".

anyone else had any experiences such as above ?

I will do - I'm giving it 1 maybe 2 days - I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt at the mo - I've been in contact with him by email, he says his account has had the money removed (so he's not sending the goods till the money is back there)

- PAYPAL say no the funds are in his account

and he should send the goods and take up the issue with them..

I'm still awaiting his reply as to what's he's intending on doing (sending me my goods or not !!)

I looked up this member on IMOC today (ok a bit late maybe ! - and he has posted only one post - the ADVERT - no car details nothing.)

I'm hoping it's all just co-incidence - but it seems fishy to me.

I will def report if it comes to it.

also will let you know if it gets reloved - hope so ! :-(

I've only ever had problems with dodgy buyers, sellers have never really been an issue.

No problem only messing.

I suffer very badly from fat fingers...you want to see some of the typos in my code...usually takes at least two or three edits to get rid of all my spelling mistakes.

If you use firefox as a browse check out http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/ really great spell checker for Firefox.
