I would of thought the IMOC organisers would know all that information and posted it.

I don't know, I wasn't there, but I wouldn't be surprised with three different tasks, massive queues, and quite a few cars, that nobody kept an overall tab on these things...

You'll just have to wait ;)

or - if it's an individuals time, you might have more luck asking the driver

Are you having a go at IMOC here or TOTB?
I don't think anyone was designated with the task of getting all the times etc, esp as they'd all have to be confirmed by TOTB anyway, so what's the problem in waiting for the official results?
If you're volunteering to be official IMOC timekeeper next year, i'm sure all the runners would be more than happy to welcome you... unless you have a car ready to run?

Well with the big discussions of 400+hp mr2s at TOTB id of expected people to be posting them left right and centre thats all.

I already have a 1/4 mile time on the table thanks. I got it as soon as I did it, thats what usually happens at drag racing events. Im sure they issued tickets.

Calm down dear...

Some people have posted times. but not all. It doesn't seem like anyone has taken every time down - ok maybe someone will next year... but too late now. I'm afraid you'll have to wait.

Sounds like he's eager to find out how his fellow club members did at a national event.

I'd like to find out too. There were meant to be a lot of "secret weapons" showing up to TOTB, yet no one has come back to report anything :(

Those times weren't the final ones tho....

Tbh, i'm not that surprised that people haven't come back shouting 1/4 mile times from the rooftops because the mr2's were never going to score well on the 1/4 mile will all the supras etc.

Canny's picks have the top ten 1/4 mile times - there were not mr2's in the top ten.

Fastest MR2 on the day was Andrew Standring with a Rogue Motorsport built engine (2.0 litre 3SGTE, GT35R turbo), posting a 12.09 quarter IIRC. Second fastest was MikeJC with a Rogue Motorsport built engine (2.2 litre 5SGTE, GT28R turbo), posting a 12.3x. This places them third on fourth on the IMOC-UK board behind our American friends.

Andrew was on his first ever drag race outing, and was becoming successively faster with each run until his Spec stage 4 clutch gave out midway through the afternoon. Even with the slipping clutch he was posting mid 12s, enough for him to annihilate the Lambourghini Murcielago when he came up against it.

Time constraints meant that MikeJC was without the GT35 series turbo he was meant to be running, limiting his power on the day but still providing the goods!

Both cars are involved in a continual development program, and are booked in over the next few weeks for upgrades (Andrew's clutch and Mike's turbo particularly) so expect to see those times drop. I confidently predict ww'll see them both in the 11's before the year is out.

I don't think so. More like he's nit picking for the sake of it.

The team and the event organiser worked damn hard, and I for one won't stand by and hear people take the pi55!

He he .... what have a 700hp supra and a 400hp supra got in common ...... they both run 12's in the 1/4 mile \:D/

Shame no one has posted an 11.

These big turbo people would do wonders with a little shot of nitrous ... it'll really earn you precious tenths on your shifts and initial launch!
Small turbos - they're not big and they're not clever!

Just say NO to small turbos!

Rogue: thanks for the reply, nice to see some good times going down. What power is the GT35R making, im thinking of moving to that turbo for my new build. Im really surprised with all the spec clutches lately, I havent had a problem with my stage 3 and I did 9 runs on the strip about 40 minutes between each one pulling 12 seconds everytime without any problems and thats after 3000 miles of abuse.

Earl: You might think whatever you want, I had a discussion the other day and you were all boasting big numbers, now you dont want to produce the results? Im only asking for results to see what cars are laying down what numbers, you might be here for chit chat and friendly banter, im here to try and make the most of my car with the funds I have available. How can we do that if no one is reporting, this is an MR2 community not a msn chat room.

Sorry for wanting facts.

I dont think anyone is wanting to take the pi55. :x Good Mr2 Turn out
well done IMOC =D>

I just think TOTB is the main event apart from JAE, we are eagerly awaiting for some info.. mind you the semi naked photo's are good :D

The team and the event organiser worked damn hard, and I for one won't stand by and hear people take the pi55!

Chill Earl you can't kill some one via keyboard :D Are you on about the IMOC team or your team  I WANT TO BREAK FREE!!!!! :D

Just be patient, these things take time to put together, some of us are normal people who need sleep, work and have family, we aren't all business types with a PR agenda ;)

The results will come, in detail - in the meantime those involved will post what they want people to know, maybe those people who are so interested should have been there on the day to lend their enthusiastic support for the team... or perhaps it's more fun to pick fault from behind a keyboard?

Look on any of the forums, the whole results thing is a sea of confusion.
