What you think of this one? I know it's sold but is it a good deal generally?

Seems expensive considering there is no MOT.

Looks fine from a distance, but i'd want close up pics of the wheel arches etc.

You have to wonder why it hasn't got a new MOT cert don't you?

I'm guessing you bought it?

Just to add another point, I wouldnt like to deal with someone that answers questions in text speak:

Q: Hi I'm interested in the MR2, is it possible to view the car this saturday or sunday afternoon?
A: hi ...yes sunday from 10 o/c til 13 iam here if thats anygood ...send me ur tlf nr..tx

and also refused to take more pics:

Q: Hi, is there any chance of some close up pictures of the bad areas just to judge possible repair work. Can e-mail to me if possible. Thanks. Lee
A: sorry iam not going to take more pic... the car is fine 4 a good while when i got the car 10 years agao .it had some rust by door front coner

Now I read into it a bit more, its prob £250-£300 worth.

With regards to the MOT, no problems. The lady actually got a new one and it passed fine, so MOT valied from end of January, just didnt update on E-bay. Not sure if this is an excuse but the lady was also Danish so may explain away the text speak. The wheel arches are the best bit of the car, no rust at all, although is some rust and gathering of water in the inside of the rear boot corner (known issue to anyone? Any cures?).

Yes I did buy this car :D , (Lee who sent the questions to her) and am just checking I didn't get completely raped, which it seems I did! Lol.

Having a few issues with it, but don't think it was sold with them. Anyway thanks for responses.

I have been heard before that if you take the boot seal off and turn it around, this will often solve the boot leak!

the water in the corners is quite common.i had one which filled up both sides.i never did find where the water went in i thought it might be the rear light seals.i bought some new ones but never got round to fitting them.i found the simplest cure was to remove the rubber bung on the bottom and make a hole in it to allow them to drain. simple no more water.
