Heading towards Portsmouth at 9:00 this morning. I followed for a while in the other lane and then overtook as he went into Portsmouth, dont think he saw me. The south coast must be full of Mrk3's i swear because this is the third one i have seen in as many days.

Shed loads of Mk3s down south, I see almost as many Mk3s as Mk2s!
Most look at you with shock/horror/disgust when you give them a wave, I don't think they recognise my little Mk1 as one of the MR2 family!
Or they're just miserable buggers!

probably your second theory i would think. Most of the mk3 drivers i see are your typical 50-60 reliving their youth types.

I see where you are coming from on this, but the majority of the members on ROC are 25 - 40

Fair play, I wasnt saying all mk3 owners, just the ones i have seen. Its typical round this area, they are probably all heading to the marina to get on their posh boats.
