Sorry I only seen this now. Man that is 1 bad impact, I can't believe you're still here to tell the tale. Not going to repeat what everybody else has said since I was involved in a situation exactly like this before and I know EXACTLY how it feels. Kinda gets a bit annoying people saying the same thing over and over again, but at the end of the day it's the thought and consideration behind what people are saying that counts.

It takes a lot of courage to post up pics of you car for other people to see and if it makes even one of us slow down then I think you will have contributed greatly to the community.

I know you feel terrible, and are probably still in shock and can't believe that this has happened but can I just say to try and not do anything too rash? When it happened to me, I ended up selling the 2 as it was and kind of regretted it afterwards tbh so I wouldn't like to see somebody make the same mistake, especially with something as special as yours. It's not something you will be able to buy again if you sell it mate.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help regards insurance or if you want to find a cheap Rev 1 turbo shell I might be able to help too.

Stay safe people,

Cheers
Pete

These sort of pictures are hard to look at, good in the respect they force us all to think.

Wowwwwwww

Didn't realise it was quite that bad, I only glanced through the thread! It really does make you think........... but glad, like everyone else, that no-one was hurt in the process.

Hope you manage to sort things out, all the best.........

Looks violent mate, glad you got out OK.

It's a testament to the strength of the MR2 IMHO, from what I can see the driver's part of the cockpit looked pretty much intact despite the obviously very heavy impact.

Be careful out there all.
