Well after being messed about it turns out the garage where the car is cant do the work I need doing

They said it's almost 100% a case of having the geometry set up and said either Toyota or possibly Hi-Q

Now I've never ever dealth with Hi-Q but it sounds like Kwik Fit
Any one had any dealings with them??

I've dealt with the Hi-Q in Kettering and wasn't left with a particularly good impression.

I'd ordered some tyres from mytyres, and Hi-Q were really stroppy about fitting them (didn't like the fact I didn't buy the tyres from them). They also never called me to let me know when the tyres arrived, despite me phoning twice before to warn them of the arrival.

Even though I'd (finally) made an appoinment for the fitting, I had to wait over an hour in their reception for them to start with no offers of a drink. When they finally got off their backsides to do something (they weren't busy) it took quite a while, and I'm pretty sure they overcharged too.

So, er, I would find somewhere else. Although other branches may be better of course!

Edit: just remembered more of the ordeal - I had to drive my car onto their flippin ramps myself!!!

If you can stomach the milage checkout WIM in my footer, Tony knows the SW20 very well and is a geometry god.

No tax or MOT and it drives in circles unless I fight it so need a geometry set up.

No tyres or parts required.

My mates offered me some trade plates if I feel they're not worthy so I can go a little further to Elite in Rainham.

Eleite would be your best bet mate yes if you are really that bad..

just down teh A13 from you

15 mins if I went at full pelt down the A13 but I'd have to crawl via the back routes lol. It's pretty hairy driving a car when your not quite sure which way the steering wheel's supposed to point!

Elite at 8am Saturday morning. Be aware if you see me coming before then cause it'll be steering itself lol.

I have more money than I though, if it gets sorted I can go strait to an MOT centre and could be all sorted to drive it to my hearts content by lunch time!!
