You bought Bibbs old car...

Do yourself a favour and loose the cheese grater on the bonnet. It used to look really nice until he put that monstrosity on it. :(

Welcome to IMOC.

I remember going to pick up the car that sported that front spoiler thing before Bibbs bought it, thought it looked stupid but then when I looked back at the car in my rear view mirror it looked spot on.... now I'm old and think it's a hazard :)

(But still a talking point)

Currently getting the handbrake cable tightened and needs 2 front bulbs (side light and one for the rev6's) and then she'll be MOT'ed, taxed and Lou will be up and running.

(and I'll not mention your generic Halfords GT wing :P - each to their own  )

I think half the fact I like that 'montrosity' is the fact that so many people seem to be so deeply offended by it!

I 'spect it'll go back on :)

We've had about a dozen enquiries from people trying to by the bonnet spoiler ever since we used the image on our website!

Not on there any more mate. A carbon ASK Sport boot lid resides there instead. :P

Funny, I only bought it cheap to see what effect it would have in dialing out understeer (along with a few other things) before I took the car to Germany.

People slate it and call me names for putting it on my car. Then I get PM's asking where I got it and if I'm selling it. Funny old game is car modding 8) .

The members of that site are not the ones who drive the chavved up monstrosities. They are the ones who take the p*ss out of cr*p mods.

And the spoiler has got a function (which it did rather well I must add), so that kinda negates the whole "pointless modifications" that the site is about.

I know you don't like it (you are not the only one) .. you've made it clear, I do like it (and I'm not the only one) so there is no need to go on about it. =;

Lou likes it, it's now her car, so it's up to her if she puts it back on. :)

I just hope she gets as much enjoyment out of it as I have .. 4 years, 3 JAE's, 2 Nur trips and a whole lot of fun miles.
:)
I've now moved to a smaller, slower, newer car .. and totally loving that now.

An S2000 .. Click and Again for BIG pics. With traditional "Ben" oversized spoiler
Totally different driving style, but it feels similar when you are sat inside. Not as quick, but more fun (esp in this weather).
