Bought some and i knew they were going to be a bad fit! The roof of the 2 curves down slightly at the side which stops them going up, if you look at the standard ones they have the flexible bit!

I started mine a good while back, on this thread

THough cant find the time to finish them atm!!

Si_Crewe awesome piece of hardware, probably the best but out of my budget to be honest?

I think the TFT sunvisors look cool and are affordable?

Neil, What size are your screens?

Am thinking the screens which axisfunity had in his car, were 7" and looked as if they fitted right in, but i might be wrong?

I seen the same branded one on ebay going for £150, so might just give them a go?

Does anybody else have any in there car or now were when can be had from which doesn't require modication to?

Must admit, I'm tempted to fit a car PC myself.

The Kenwood HU has at least one video-in and maybe (I think) 2.
My plan is to hook it up to a 12v supply in the house and then run a cable from the video-out of my laptop to the HU and see what the resolution is like.
If it's acceptable I'll set it up in the car so I can just swap to my AUX video channel to access the car PC.

Course, if it's all blurry and lo-res I'll have to think again.

the sunvisor screens i have are 8 inch widescreen, the resolution of them is great for motion pictures, but a bit fuzzy on still such as carpc use, i use a 1024 res pixelon (same internals as lilliput) for the TS.

I got mine from ebay for £160 delivered for the pair

Hi,

I've got them in stock both sides and they fit the MR2 reasonably well. I can do you a deal on a set and head unit if you're interested.
For pics have a look at my website www.nvicars.co.uk. If you can't get access to the section you may need to activate java script within your browser.

Cheers
