turbo gone?

out the other night having a bit of fun and next thing,loss of power and loads of smoke.
lately i have thought turbo might be on the way out as the engine was starting to use oil and there was plenty of it in the intercooler pipes.
i'm near convinced it is the turbo as when i revved the car up, there was no pressure on any of the intercooler pipes and the dumpvalve didn't blow off.

opinions please

so if there is oil in the IC pipes that means ur turbo is going? i had mine off today and there was a little bit of oil around the rims of the pipes. can anyone confirm this?

dont worry about bits of oil, the oil breather system dumps back in to your intake, and can sometimes dump oil residue.

if there is loads of oil and no boost pressure your right , your turbo is more than likley gone

Take the pipes off on the turbo and check both the wheels, then gently try to spin the wheel by hand.
Sounds like turbo.

took of intake pipe and downpipe,
wheel on intake ok,
wheel on exhaust side doesn't exist

oh dear. The missing wheel may just be in Germany and might return after the world cup.
