Rear toyota badge, where are the pins

Just been de-badging the rear of my car, and I'm about to deal with the toyota badge. I just need to know are the pins top and bottom or left and right ? and how far appart are they ?
I plan to fit a different badge in it's place but need to know if it will cover the old holes, or if I'll need to fill the holes.

There are no pins on the boot badge, just the front.

Ooh I didn't know that, I debadged mine at the weekend and left the emblem in the middle cos I thought it would have pins
Gonna take that off tomorrow!

Took off my rear Toyota emblem and there was two pins on the upper left and right sides of the badge
Jonb - yours must have been filled in before and someone has stuck the badge on top, unless there is a difference between Rev's

Strange, i've removed the rear badge from both my MK2's without issue now (rev2 NA and rev3 turbo).

Have you still got the front badge spare then cos some theiving git has stolen mine and left me with some nice holes on the front

i *think* imports dont have pins but uk spec does. havent a clue why
