TRD 2000 KIT

Post by mr2ash »

Wow, the kit of shafters car is absolutely stunning (Excuse the name dropping!)

I understand these kits are as rare as a weekend of wallpapering but.... does anyone know of a car with that kit on for sale or where that such an item could be bought

PS - I didn't tell you to Google "shafters" and then select "I feel lucky", because this definitely brings up a Not Safe For Work page... so don't do this, whatever you do...

Fensport sell the kit. You'll get shafted though once you pay VAT and then some one to fit it!

£5000

VAT = £875

then about £2000 fitting and spraying:

Grand total - £7875 :shock: :o :shock: :o

What about £700 from replikit.co.uk and then throw ther rest at fitting and painting. If you're doing a bit of work yourself and keeping the original colour of the car then you could get away with adding a lot less than a grand to the kit price, especially if you have any friends in the trade.

Isn't it about £1100 from replikit without the spoiler?

Still £1100 is a lot better than £5k LOL :lol:

Check here, all their prices have been revised - http://www.replikit.co.uk/kits/mr2.htm
Only £700 now, if it had been that price when I fitted my border kit I'd have taken it on instead !

Shafter! Great stuff

Even the genuine TRD kit needs effort to fit right.

If you can get it for £700 the it's probably gonna need a hell of a lot of work. So factor in about £5k still. still cheaper then £7k+
