stupid question about the expansion tank

stupid question about the expansion tank

As i've been cleaning my coolant system i want to get the expansion tank off but can't seem to see how to get to the nuts that hold it in place. Either that or its got some of that no more nails crap holding it in place.

Any ideas?

pull upwards with side rocking motion, its on rails.

It just pulls up, no bolts.

Hi

The expansion tank just lifts off, it can sometimes seem a bit stiff but if you pull straight up it should lift off.

Cheers. I had images of the nuts going through the bottle and into the boot!
