Well the weather held out for us, nice and sunny, although a bit chilly, but at least it was dry.

The usual crowd met at Hall Road in Norwich:

No 'on the move' pics as I am now a driver, but we had a decent run down to our next stop point, where we met up with two others. Andy had a fire on the way to the stop point but fortunately sorted it out!!! No pics from here as it was a bit dark and we had to mingle with peoples boring Rovers and camper vans.

We carried on through the nasty roadworks, hopefully no one got flashed by the speed cameras, and arrived at Tescos to find the rest of the crowd. Not many were there to start with:

But we were pleased to see some more Mk1s as well as a very good selection of different Mk2s.

As you can see it was a very good turn out.

HOW shiny is this?

Speaking of shiny, I couldn't resist this pic of my car in a nice shiny black reflection...

A pair of white ones:

One man per engine please - uh oh, Andy has his book out....

On our way home, we hit some traffic, and a black Mk1 pulled up behind us. He looked really impressed to see another 2 mk1s and took a pic on his phone. Was a very nice sight, hope he managed to get one of the website addresses!

Great to hear you had a good meet and the weather held out.
The mk1 club had a show in Crawley today and rained most of the day, loads of cars getting stuck in the mud.

We still had a good day though,9 mk1's on the club stand, not bad after the bad weather reports.

Any of you lot fancy a run out, next Sunday. The London to Brighton run is on.Details on here.

Sounds good to me. Would love to join you but both the dates no good for me[one's gone now anyway], and at Modified nationals next weekend. I'm in Ipswich so will try to keep an eye on what is happening. :)
Must try to remember to put pictures of my car in the garage.
