Brands Hatch Meet (30/05/06)

Ok, this is earlier than i thought - its 5pm-8pm not sure how many of you are working that night

i've got the day off so will probably get there a 5pm Wink

The Kentagon (bar) is open till 8pm

I could get there for 6pm at best. If Bluewater not on that same night, if so we could have a drive over to that once finished there, could be fun?

If it is only until 8 then there is little point, even if I get out on time at 5.30 I still won't make it until at least 7 because of traffic.

The problem with an 8pm finish is that most people are going to have to travel to Brands after work, in rush hour traffic, and don't want to go there to be turfed out after an hour.

The venue is a fantastic idea, but because of the times i doubt it'll ever really work that well.

It'd work if we took the day off - no seriously.
I have friends in LOT and they are up there during the day for a run on the track, don't think it is just an MR2 thing today.

Real shame we didn't get a larger turnout, but was still well worth the effort. Fun drive to BW too

Had a great time tonight. Watching all of those cars really made me want to get out there and do a few..... hundred laps! lol I'll most certainly be booking up for the next one as I suspect a few others who were there tonight will be

Like Pete said the drive over to the Bluewater meet afterwards was great fun too. He's spot on regarding the need for more driving orientated meets also =D>

Agreed I was torn between excitment and jealousy watching the cars on the track,I sooooo wished I was out there,I'm definately up for the next Brands track day and at £99 it seems good value too.Gonna get some more alloys in R888 friendly sizes to use just for the track
I had a great laugh driving the scenic route to Bluewater and agree we should do something like that more often
