early thrash- cat and fiddle - 4th june

Post by hicks »

after an awesome run over the cat on sunday im now looking at going over it again but hopefully with less traffic.

the plan is to meet at tesco in macclesfield at 7am and use it as a base, then go up and down the cat until you either get fed up or too much traffic.

if you havent been along this road before take alook at this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2j81D8YKbM

the cat and fiddle starts from where im following the bmw but starts to get really good from when im following phil in the audi.

anyone up for it?

cars in for mot on thurs, so assuming it passes, and its dry, count me in
tried watching the vid from the other thread you posted it in, paused it and waited about 20 mins for it to finish loading and watched all of about 5 secs after flicking through and finding it was just music - dude, stop doing that  would rather hear the cars own music

A late night run might be more interesting (and dangerous)!

Or maybe an evening run 7-8pm, there can't be that much traffic at that time and we would still get the light and be able to get back home for midnight.

the more often you do big runs the less people will come... best doing one ever few months or every 3, as its 40 notes worth of fuel each time

its not a big run. just a couple of hours up and down the cat and fiddle until you get bored or it starts getting busy.

although i cant see how you could get bored driving on the cat and fiddle.

im not really making this an event really just something i want to do so thought id see if anyone else is upfor it.
