Yay Seats are in

Post by Scotster »

Finally managed to do the final fitting of the seats on my 2. It took one hell of a lot of work and i had to make custom runners to do it all. Anyway, here is the finished result.

And here are the custom mounts that i have been messing around with for the past month trying to get them to fit right.

Only trouble i am having is that the shoulder bolster bits rub on the cubby box. Is this normal coz they are so wide? Doesn't really cause any hassle but i get an annoying squeeking noise when i move around. I'm thinking of sticking a couple of pieces of fabric on there to stop it lol.

I can't either, i work in a factory with a few people that can though ;)

Had to do all the fabrication in work, wasn't exactly light materials i was using lol.

Sprayed them black before putting them in to to match the carpets. Used aerospace aluminium flash coat as a primer lol.

Hey good point mate. Wonder how much that would cost :-k

I'm gonna spray the window switches to match the dash too but doing the doorcards would finish the job nicely.

In material? Wouldn't want them done in leather coz of the material seats.
