thanks for that, is there any benefit from having the ats over the Turbo technics version, think the TT has a single exhaust port?

any info would be great.

Ive done a lot off testing on my own car , and i would avoid any hybrid without single valve wastegate ,, they all tend to overboost , the toyota design is too good , if u up the air flow it cannot flow enuf gas to lower the boost

pm me if u need more details

Yep, what Andi says. My Hybrid CT26 also had a problem with boost creep - that was cured (a little) but going from a ported exhaust turbine housing to a standard one.

If you're looking for a hybrid CT26, how about going for the complete Supra CT26A unit; not just the compressor section like I've done, but the whole thing, including the much larger single wastegate design and single entry exhaust housing?

I't would be a bit of work to get it to mate with an MR2 exhaust manifold (the early GT4 had a single entry manifold)... but would certainly not have any problems with flow or boost creep at high boost levels.

so the thinkin on here is to get a hybrid like the TT but only with the single exhaust port and to leave the ats one as its likely to boost creep.

thanking you guys for your top advice.

now is there anyone else apart from TT that does a hybrid????

thanks karam

think you have to request a single port wastegate with TT. My first hybrid CT20b off them didn't have a single port and was a creep monster (> 1.7 bar). Eventually got it done by them again, but single port . NO CREEP AT ALL.

Don't really think there's any benefit with the so-called CT27 over what a CT20 can give you.

I kinda regret getting a hybrid now, and if i was going through it again, i'd just get a whole new ball-bearing turbo kit.
