photo shoot/video mess about day - 28th may (derbyshire)

had a talk to tom on msn and was having a chat about the vids from the cat and fiddle day and tom came up with the idea of just going out and getting some footage for the laugh.

then i thought why not have a few of us take loads of photos in some nice spots, loads of videos and get them on the forums afterward. could be a laugh.

there would be no planned route just meet up somewhere and potter about looking for places to film.

this would be weather dependent i.e. dry.

looking at the 28th of this month which is a sunday but havent got a time or meeting place yet.

Could be up for it, but weather must be fantastic..........

Every event i've been on so far has been in pretty bad weather.... so would be nice for the sun to be out.

Also if you want some serious good footage then we really need walkie talkies.... that way if i'm filming then i could let you know when i want to pass to get in front and let you know when to hold back so i can get in a good spot for some sweeping bend, Really could get some crackin footage but everyone needs to co-operate, it wouldnt be so much of a drive..... more of a hold back so we can get som mint footage. If it was really good to i would save it in dvd format and role some ultra high quality dvd's off for people to view on there big screens.

The only reason quality is low at the moment on videos is because of the mere 25mb upload space but with a dvd there's more than enough

Its up to you guys...... you can make this a one off ultimate shoot that would be something to save or just a quick flick

It's true - there's a lot of stopping and starting and constantly retracing your steps!

Me and Mark used to do a bit of filming when we went out on our crotch-rockets - it does take time and you don't necessarily cover much ground - just picking the right locations!

Well up for it though (weather permitting!)

That's right tom.... it all depends what you want from it. If it's a drive out then you get what you can on camera, but if your trying to make a nice video then its a different story.

I also used to do the same when i had my evo and my m8 had his scooby, we used to go out nearly every weekend filming... got some great footage and now i havent got the evo anymore it brings back some nice memories.... it's well worth doing and doing well.

If the weather is good then i'm up for it..... i even have another older camcorder that i may strap to the back of the car.... will have to see if this really go's ahead.

if all goes well we could make it a regular thing every couple of months or so then at the end of the year make a dvd to reflect over the year.

any ideas for a meeting place

got a few place we could go and get some footage and photos around the bakewell area.

right we are meeting at haddon hall carpark in bakewell at 11am. it on the a6 on your right hand side as you come out of bakewell towards matlock.

weve also got a nice road in mind but obviously wont be staying there all day.

if thats too early for some people then i will put my mobile number on here so they can ring me to meet somewhere else later on in the day.

another reminder though that if the weather is rubbish then we wont be doing it so may be best to check on here before you set off to make sure its going ahead or not.
