.... the design of the spokes bending back in as it reaches the lip gives the allusion of making them look smaller than they actually are to me. A design with straighter spokes will always make the rim look bigger than it is, possibly a better idea when rolling on 16" rims 
...not my ideal choice of design but 150 squid with good tyres im not complaining......theres probably loads of you with 17"s on that handle like a dream and i agree they do look great but i think the 16"s are a very good comprimise.....has n e 1 fitted 235/50/16 to the rear on a 7.5" rim.....just wondered if this would fill out rear arch and improve grip even more ?> 17 sivo wrote:i drove one with 17"s on and it handled like a shoppin trolley in my humble opinion so thats why i went for the 16"s.
Trust me when I tell you that after a certain power point you find yourself glad of the 17" rims ! lol couldnt decide on best colour so had all three at the same time........
