Just bought a 1993 L Reg GT and was wondering what the BHP was, its totally bog standard.

Everywhere ive looked says a different HP.

Take it to a rolling road :)

Its still probably close to standard bhp - if you want to gain mid range torque and a little power, your best bet is to run super unleaded and advance the timing a little.

This has to be the most confusing question to ask!!!! :-k I have a k reg rev 2 non turbo UK car with k&n induction and big exhaust and my bhp is around 160 although its goig to depend on a lot of factors regarding age, mileage etc of engine.

import

Post by noidy »

was thinking of de limiting it but heard of probs with p/steering so think ill settle with being hit by brick wall of power loss at 112 :?

hmmmm, mines been delimited but haven't been above 112 yet because i've only test driven it so far!!

Does this mean the power steering will think I'm doing 1mph at 113mph?

power steering

i doubt its that harsh but heard different things saying that its a little light cos ecu thinks car is going slower or summit ???? had mine off the clock twice 180 kmh being on the clock needle right round to bottom of dial and whack oh thats painful watching the car ya racing carry on :(
