After all you don't know me from Adam, but i think you've got the wrong end of the stick but then i suppose i wasn't very clear! It was just an enquiry as to whether i could get an idea of what a turbo was like before hunting for one in ernest.

'Playbunny' (i think) was kind enough to take me out in her NA MR2 at the recent bluewater meet, so now i'm just looking for a tubby comparison to help me confirm its what i want/need.

I've spent the last three years in Mkiv supras, but i've no idea what its like to even be in a MR2 turbo let alone driving one. Be nice to experience them as much as possible via friendly enthusiasts so that i don't waste sellers time deciding if i even like the marque, let alone their actual car.

Anyone at Boxhill tomorrow?

Both the 1JZ and 2JZ are a straight 6... in the back of a '2? Hmm... somehow I think you'll have a bit of fabrication to do!

A 2JZGTE would make an absolutely monstrous MR2 though... if you could ever figure out how to get the rear wheels far enough apart to squeeze it in! Hey, wheres Mr W???
