Recommended Importers

Post by neilg1977 »

Hi lads & ladies,

Please could you all recommend any Importers you know of who do a good job? A friend of mine wants to import a 350Z but doesn't have a clue who to use.

He's aware of the hassles this could cause but wants to go ahead with it anyway - Company names, websites, etc.

Many thanks,

Neil

Julian @ Japanese-Direct-Imports - 07968 336450

Get him to phone up just for a chinwag. Julian's good like that. He can tell him all his options etc etc.

Tell him Luke said to call and he'll be sure to sort you a deal!

How about Tom @ NVI? He's just imported a 350Z for a customer I understand, and IIRC he said something about it being a Nismo spec (or somesuch Nissan special model goodness).

Seconded, bought a mint MR2 turbo off them and last I heard he was looking to specialise in the 350z too.

Try browsing www.car-imports-direct.com the proprietor is Neil Howe a much respected importer within this business. They opperate a holding deposit service (£250), which gives you first viewing, and first refusal, and a deposit refund if you do not proceed on the deal so no real risk.I purchased (luckily first enquirey) from a photo on the Japanese dockside the SVA now ESVA conversion/test was carried out by www.protech-uk.co.uk both these company,s are based in Bristol. My car is a 1999 (May) MR2 ,GTS Turbo, rev5, FTSH one owner 31,000mls, chrome V/S works 5 spoke split rims, Recaro seats,TRD zaust, C-West side skirts, the colour is Cosmos Blue, they told me, "we do not bring a car half way around the world without being sure of its credentials", worth a look.
