***Yeovilton Air Day***

Post by baz995 »

well its that time again, this years Air Day is set to be the best yet, not only have we moved the date from September (good chance of rain) to July but have also got aircraft like the new Typhoon and JSF displaying along with the Commando Assault finale.

This will be the 3rd air day with mr2oc attendance and for those that havent been before we have our own stand, last year we had 13 cars turn out and all were very well received and presented with over 48,000 visitors on the day.

A normal ticket is £20 but you can get your mr2 and yourself in for the whole day for £14 and £16 for your passenger, if i get enough interest again i can canvass b+bs in the area or there is the option of camping which was used last year. Hopefully there will be another concert/band on in the evening and again with enough interest i will secure places/tickets this time.

have a look at www.yeoviltonairday.co.uk for any more info or pm me

thanks

I reckon they run along the lines of interesting cars these days. There is allsorts there to be honest. An MR2 presence has been there for a couple of years now and always gone down well. And they can't really complain about the noise :)

yes mate it is okay, basically they ran the event years ago and never really thought sports enthusiasts would be interested, this will be our 3rd year now and always get plenty of praise and interest, they basically havent updated the forms
