Sorry this is so late.

Been trying to finish things on the car. Nightmare!

Convoy route posted above is not the rout we are going.

I did a dummy run this morning and realised the route above is far too complex.

We will be going right off the motorway (J20) along the A4304.

Then Turning left onto the B5414 (at the petrol station on the right).

At the T-Junction left onto the A5199.

And then in about 2.5 miles turn left following the sign to Bruntingthorpe.

In about 1.5 - 2 miles turn left at the sign for Bruntingthorpe prooving grounds.

Good day had by all i think!

Nice to meet everyone, some good examples of mr2's and a lot of fun all round.

Of course, it would have been more fun if the lexus boys could curner and the supra boys could drive. It was byebye in the straights then sitting on their tail in the corners.

One guy made my day, a supra owner i'd been chasing around the track and eventually got by and shot off came over in the pits expecting to see a shiney modded up engine. When he asked what i'd done and i said "it's got a boost guage but apart from that pretty much stock" his face dropped. Quality. Same thing happened after i got past a GT4 running around 380bhp fly.

Oh god, why do I always have to do stupid poses

Although I was well chuffed as we had just come back in after changing to our tarmac track wheels from the ditchfinders that were on the car for the morning 8)

Superb day again guys!
Had a blast and even got a respectable time on the quarter later in the afternoon of 13.56 @ 105.
Want to say a big sorry to the mk 3 bloke I took for a ride then promptly spun off the track  Hrm, Second year, second spin, second time with a passenger of unknown origin, #-o gotta to keep it a little more tame next time I give a stranger a ride :eye:

Bit anoyed at the marshling this year tough as I got a black flag for my first screw up, and each time I went through the cone chicane during a cooldown lap got blue flagged, kinda started getting on my nerves that those who shal remain nameless who were passing on the corners and driveing way more aggresivly than most were allowed to continue to do so but those uf us who bobbled a bit got a nice talking to by the marshals :x

Well good day any way!

I agree Mike, I wasn't impressed by the marshaling either let alone the 2 X black flag rule...

FFS Jo got a black flag for spinning in the middle of nowhere (coming out the 1st right-hander after pit straight (not the fast lefthander) with no traffic about

I wasn't impressed to see marshals dissappearing from their posts. Although I think they may have been sat in a car not far away, still no use if something does go pearshaped.

I also think that the lack of propper sighting laps was the cause of some really bad driving early on.

Track courtesy lacked by a lot of drivers especially at the start of the day. The White GT4 should have been black flagged for agressiveness and dangerous ovetaking and 98% of the Lexus's should have taken tuition.

Least by the afternoon things had settled and most people had a really good time.

I doubt I'll do it again next year, but we'll see...

A bit of a delayed response but, yes, it was a great day!

Good to meet a few of the IMOC crew and thanks again to Mike for a few laps in his beast!

I know this event was a while ago, but i have just gained internet access!!!

Was a good day and my first time at one of these events (though i didnt do the track i did have a pop at the 1/4 mile - 14.07 @ 98mph, not the best drag strip so i am led to believe).

I have got some photos and video footage, i shall post up in 2 weeks when i get back home!

Good to meet some of you guys too!
