My Modified Exhaust (PICS)

Post by Dale_V »

Had my custom exhaust modified today to get rid of the 2.5" pipes from the backbox to the 4" tail pipes. I had them (exhausts Uk) make me two 4" straight through pipes with a slash cut as before  . It has also changed the sound of the exhaust dramatically, it's now probably half as loud again, not too loud but enough to get noticed ;)

A couple of pics

Dale,

they look really good mate. How much did you pay for that doing if you don't mind me asking? I'm wanting the same thing done to mine only reducing as they're currently 5" and stick out miles!! You might remember it from when we met at Xscape a bit ago - looks a bit like a wheelbarrow! :D

cheers BLOOD :D

Skywalker - im going to think about the 1/4 mile, my tyres are bu88ered on the inside, so im waiting for my new ones :x

Rik - It cost me £130 and took them about 2.5 hours to drop the backbox and machine the new pipes up. It will be alot less if you just change the "tail pipes" as all of my pipes had to be redone to get rid of the 2.5"

Cheers 8)

I'd have to agree here mate.
Just bend it up out the way. Its well easy, and if you have trouble making a crease in the right place, just put the standard car jack underneath it and wind it up. Its well easy, and worth the cold knees IMO. 8)

Must agree about the mesh ,would be better to have the full exhaust on view! But thats the only fault that i can think of!
